Tried launching the games with WebMan, Multiman and Irisman, same issue. I checked if cobra/rebug mode was enabled, same issue. I've tried dowloading the non-working games from other sources, same issue. So i've been looking for potential solutions on the internet but none of them are working.

I'm able to mount the ISO's and see the disc icon on the XMB succesfully but when i try to launch one of those games, i'm either getting a black screen with nothing going on or i'm kicked back to the XMB and i'm not even receiving any error code except for God Of War III that says Error 80010017. So far all of the PS2 games that i have transfered are working when i mount them via WebMan and then launch the disc from the XMB : God Of War 1 & 2, Black, RE Code Veronica X for example.īut then i'm having a lot of issues running PS3 ISO's through Webman, the only ones that have worked so far are : Soul Calibur V and Tales of Xillia 1 & 2.Īnd then for some reasons that i ignore some PS3 games seem to be more "capricious" than others like Gow III, Persona 5, RDR, MGS 4 or Gran Turismo 6, they absolutely won't launch through Webman. So after i've done all of that i wanted to try and play some PS2 and PS3 games and the way i do it is that i transfer all of my iso's from my external HDD to the internal HDD of the PS3. The PS3 had the latest official firmware installed (4.88) when i bought it so i first installed Evilnat CFW and then downgraded and installed Rebug 4.84.2 REX and a bunch of other stuff using this guide, because for some reason that appears to be the the "best" CFW at the moment if i'm not mistaking ? So i'm pretty new to the PS3 scene but basically i bought myself a PS3 fat some weeks ago for the purpose of installing a CFW on it in order to play PS2/PS3 games.
